The waves crash over and into each other.
This was never a choice.
Coming together has always been fated, as they roll into one.
The air smells of February, crisp and thawing.
As the thick blanket of winter is slowly pulled away.
Each grain of sand rejoices, continuously being hugged by the tide & kissed by the wind.
The bushes remain bare, and bones have washed ashore.
Reminding us of the sacrifices each season must endure.
Wild paw prints run across the shoreline, like the familiar signature of change.
The trees reflect Gia herself.
Standing alone and naked at times, but steadfast and surviving.
If you listen closely, you can hear the waves and the wind sing in harmony.
Declaring that no love has been lost.
The heartbeat of the universe is louder and more profound than these words can describe,
and yet it is no different than the pulse inside of you and I.
Clouds whisp by and every so often the sun shines through them.
Warmly spreading across rosy cheeks and smiling with grace.
This Life is Beautiful.
