Hold on loosely but don’t let go...

With all things we must find a balance

Somewhere between just enough and not too much

Set your gaze towards the goal

But don’t lose sight of your peripheral

You must keep moving forward

Without letting the behind you pull you backward

Some days its full speed ahead, all systems go

Blazing new trails and scaling tall mountains with all that you know

Other days its easy does it

Take it slow, let off the throttle and just coast a bit

To much of a good thing can throw you off track

But if you don’t have enough, it will also drag you back

When the sun gets too bright you beg for the shade

And when the night is too dark, you come to regret that trade

Like balancing water buckets as you walk through the rain

An excess or abundance doesn’t always equal gain

Moderation is key but not with everything

I am sure you have heard that a caged bird will still sing

But is that a song or more of a scream

Sometimes its hard to decipher real life from a dream

Let’s not forget this is about balance in all that we do

Just the right amount, find what’s right for you

No one can tell you what your right and what your wrong is

You must listen with your heart for the answer to this

One more thing before you on your way

No tomorrow is worth not living today.
