Collectively Dizzy

Do you think others can see the melancholy that drips from humanity

The disingenuous smiles as we try to pretend

Someone find the plug; joy is draining fast

Slow down the spinning – we’re all collectively dizzy

Please take my hand …

We must do this united to continue to stand

Throw the differences overboard

Now is not the time for division

It is astoundingly clear that Love is not what got us here

But it is the only thing that will save us

Go out there and love like life depends on it –
